For over 100 years, Bredemeier has always understood the importance of listening and responding to its customers’ needs. E. W. Bredemeier and Co. began in 1895 as a button card manufacturer. Over the years, they started producing sample books and cards for the men’s clothing companies and other fabric distributors. Several prestigious wholesale dry goods companies came to demand Bredemeier’s service as well for production of sample products, using actual products or illustrations to be used by the proverbial door to door salesman. During the great depression, Bredemeier made whatever it could to keep its doors open. During World War II it made portable Checker sets for Gi’s abroad as well as Mess kits. Through history, Bredemeier has produced a diverse range of products.
